Ok Rare, I know you like the whole torturing thing but if you don't leave their minds intact you'll never get any more useful information out of them.

What the hell are you all talking about?

Suddenly, a wild trailer appears!

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.

I saw it, and was surprised at how much APUSH didn't teach me. For instance, my book said something about Abraham Lincoln killing vampires in his spare time, but it made no mention on how big an impact it had on his life.

Peter Jackson's King Kong shouldn't have been about King Kong.

It should have been 2 hours of this.

Just went to see Prometheus. I didn't really notice any special 3D effects, and I'm not sure if that was a good or a bad thing. I thought it was a pretty mediocre movie, all the story does is set up a bunch of questions for a sequel (to what's supposed to be a prequel to the Alien series, so, a sequel to the prequel. I think I feel a star wars flashback coming up...). There's no real explanation for anything that happens in the film. There was a lot of potential for a good story, but nothing gets resolved or explained at all.

Just finished watching Princess Mononoke. It's an amazing film by (I think his name is Hayao Miyazaki). Considering he's made other amazing movies such as Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Ponyo, and a few others, I'm not really surprised at how awesome it was, but it was still effin' amazing.

Spoiled for language because I can't be bothered weeding it out.
Spoiler:
Just got back from seeing the Amazing Spiderman.
SOOOOOOOOO SOOO SOO SOOOOOOO MUCH BETTER than the other Spiderman films.

Emma Stone is really pretty.
THOSE ARE REAL TEARS ON HER FACE

Whoever was playing Spiderman is literally the epitome of mediocrity. He looks perfect for Spiderman because he is such an average looking kid. Unfortunately, his acting is also average. He has average hair and an average name; fuck, I saw his name in the credits and thought "that is a really average name" and now I can't even remember his name because it is so average.

SALLY FIELD OH GOSH
I THREW MY UNDERWEAR AT THE SCREEN BUT NOTHING HAPPENED

Totally made me remember why Spiderman is one my favourite heroes, despite Spiderman himself having the emotional range of a brick.

I love how these superhero films are becoming edgier and less family-friendly. George Clooney Batman is the perfect example of how family cinema is killing the industry. OH GOSH
WHY ARENT THERE ANY OTHER GOOD DC MOVIES?
I JUST WANT THE FLASH TO BECOME A MOVIE
BUT THEY WILL FUCK IT UP SO BAD
WALLY WEST WE SHALL BE TOGETHER ONE DAY

I AM SO PISSED THOUGH
I HAD TO SEE IT IN 3D
WHY DON'T THEY JUST CUT OUT MY EYES?
Made the movie SO dark. Colours, lighting, props, sets, etc. all ruined. 3D is awful and if anyone on this forum thinks 3D movies are good I will leave forever.
3D circlejerk ending of Spiderman shooting at the web screen made me so maf.

Also, they put up a preview for The Dark Knight Rises before the movie started. Pretty bummed.
I'd been avoiding them on purpose because lately there seems to be a trend of PUTTING THE ENTIRE FUCKING PLOT INTO THE TRAILER
JESUS FUCKING CHRIST
I AM TRYING SO HARD RIGHT NOW TO FORGET EVERYTHING I SAW

Total Recall trailer came on right away afterwards
HOLY FUCK
THERE IS LITERALLY NO SUSPENSE LEFT IN THE FILM BECAUSE OF THAT TRAILER
JUST FUCK YOURSELVES, HOLLYWOOD
FUCK YOURSELVES WITH A KNIFE

Man, Semi, I do NOT want to see Spiderman now. And I'm not excited for Dark Knight Rises, either. Anne Hathaway is no Catwoman, and Christian Bale is unattractive. Everybody who's read any Batman comic knows what happens when Bane and the Bat confront each other.

I haven't read the comics! Spoilers!

I know what you mean about Anne Hathaway. I think she'll be okay but I think Catwoman needs to be a bit more...vivacious and I didn't get that vibe from her.

Just saw Spiderman (it was in English, even!)

...I will say this about it. What it did well, it did very well. Where it failed, it failed utterly. It had some extremely powerful, well-acted, well-shot scenes, but there's just a laundry list of inconsistencies, plot holes, and fridge logic that just drags it down so horribly. []

I know what you mean. I also find Andrew Garfield food as Spiderman but pretty annoying as Peter Parker.

I love Dr Connors in it, though.

Te gusta, Dewmann?

Is it just me, or did the guy playing Peter Parker actually out-Cera Michael Cera? And I mean that in a good way...he actually had the awkwardness very believable at times (when the script called for it...because otherwise he was a class-dodging, authority-disrespecting skater and not the science nerd he was in the comics).

...but the SOUND EFFECTS when
Spoiler:
Gwen's hiding from the Lizard
...I about had it when I heard those...I thought I'd gotten in the Delorean and gone back to the 70s...[]

Peter Parker's awkwardness and flakiness just irritates the hell out of me, to be honest. Although as that is his thing it makes watching the films a bit awkward. At least he isn't tap dancing.
